MAM Emergency Skills Course for Midwives

Course Description

The MAM Emergency Skills for Midwives (ESM) course includes an intensive series of hands-on birth emergency scenarios with a small group (up to 3 participants).  Each scenario is followed by debriefing and discussion.  The course includes a discussion of new evidence and theory in birth emergency management.

Provide evidence to the course organizer that you have successfully completed the online test. Minimum passing grade, 80%. 

Reminder: you need to be off-call the night before the workshop.

NEW: MAM will try to accommodate moving a registration to a different date up to 21 days in advance of the course.

Cancellation is subject to cancellation fees.

If a cancellation or transfer request is made between 7-21 days before the course, a fee of $50 will be deducted from the refunded registration fee. If cancelled less than 7 days prior to the course, the cancellation fee is $100.

Refunds for cancellations or transfer request within 24 hours of the course or no shows will be considered on a case by case basis and only considered under exceptional circumstances. 24 hour cancellation is subject to $100 fee.
