The Midwives Association of Manitoba is happy to present another Spinning Babies workshop. The interdisciplinary workshop provides you with another lens from which to look at physiological labour and birth, and leaves you with a broad range of tools to use in pregnancy and birth. This one-day workshop will be held on 2 separate days: November 2 and November 3, 2018 at Sport Manitoba, located in downtown Winnipeg. Although it is mainly tailored for birth workers (midwives, doulas, nurses, doctors, bodyworkers), all are welcome to attend. Please click here to be directed to the registration page. Your spot will be confirmed with receipt of full payment of registration fees.

Midwifery Emergency Skills Workshop
Course schedule is generally: September in Brandon, January in Morden/Winkler, February and May in Winnipeg

ATTENTION to former midwifery clients!

MAM needs your help! They are in need of former clients to raise their voice and show support by allowing us to showcase any birth pictures you are willing to provide.

Here are some of the details:
*We want pictures of midwifery clients giving birth in hospital, at home or at the Birth Centre
*They would be for promotional use (such as in slideshows at the Birth Centre for IDM) but likely not for an actual campaign
*It is completely voluntary
*The pictures may be edited (cropped, clarified, etc.)
*Clients would need to sign a release

The pictures could then be used by MAM, however they would be protected and not sold or used without consent etc.

All contributions are greatly appreciated!
Thank you for your support!
